2000 C230 Kompressor in dire straits...

Hello, All! My Mercedes has served me reliably for 21 years, 400,000 miles, and sat idle for a year while I was deployed 10 years ago. Now everything is falling apart at once.
About 2 months ago I would get a "lag" when trying to accelerate just after start-up...seemed the car needed to "warm up" or something as it lasted about a 1/2 mile or so, but I could put the accelerator on the floor, and it would be just above idle speed. My non-mechanical brain described it as the engine throwing a tantrum by holding its breath.
About a month ago, I started to let the car warm up for 5 minutes, before driving it, and that eliminated the problem.
And now in the last two days, it has started to do it while I am driving it... losing power and downshifting. At freeway speed, that was unsettling.
A friend with a code reader helped me identify the current active codes: P1525, P1235, P1236, P0135, P0141, P0341
I am on a budget, and any thorough diagnosis by a mechanic would eat up what little I have to buy potentially purchase parts. We did the throttle sensor reset with no change. We can do the work ourselves if we know which parts to buy, but the multiple codes has me grasping at straws here. Has anyone else experienced this, and what was the fix?
THANK YOU!!
