1999 C280 Wiper Cover Dissassembly?
I've seen posts in here that references websites and pictures that are non-existent, anyone able to help me figure out how to remove the wiper cover so I can attempt to lube it. (Having the wiper "sticking" problem).
1999 C280 Sport (VIN: WDBHA29G1XA707073)
Also - Just started getting permament ABS and ESP yellow lights that will not turn off, any ideas would be appreciated.

The wiper cover comes off easily, at the bottom where the plastic is the widest, pull down and lift up, this piece is hooked around there and then lift up and slide it off. Lube with lithium grease, just the rod and spring.
If your ABS and ESP ligts are on and stay on, if I were you I would get to a Mercedes shop ASAP, as you got some BIG safety issues here. These systems are NOT DIY. A word to the wise, etc.

RE: 1999 C280 Wiper Cover Dissassembly?
I have just recently performed this operation during a replacement of my wiper motor. In sleepwalkers thumbnail you will see the bolt that needs to be removed in order to slide off the wiper arm. remove the bolt and the wiper arm.
From there, place an index finger on both lower undersides of the lower unit that the piston is protruding from. You will feel an indent on each side. pull outward on the black plastic cover from these points and the cover will lift up and slide off the piston.
Your wiper sticking problem is probably running deeper if it has been doing it for a while. The problem usually occurs once the nylon gear starts to strip in the motor assembly and lubing the wiper piston is likely only a temporary solution.

Autoparts stores should have it, as well as boating stores. You can probably even get it at Wal-Mart.
