Hey folks,

I am having issues with paint integrity (Bordeaux Red) on my Benz. I have 3 - 4 spots where the paint/sheetmetal is beginning to "boil" and shows signs of rust. These spots are most prevelant either directly above or below the chrome strip that runs horizontally accross the side of my Benz. Couple of questions - 1. Is there anyway to stop the rusting/integrity issuess? 2. Will touch-up paint help? Any comments are appreciated - Thanks!

 

I have a 2000 CLK 320

It was my third Mercedes, I was happy to say I was a loyal Mercedes Owner when I made the purchase.

But the quality of this car is HORRIBLE.

Now the warranty has worn out and my TRUNK LOCK is RUSTED all the way through.

I am not sure what to do either.

I could have bought a Chrysler !
