Recently purchased 1996 C280 Sport. I have two issues I need help with.

1. Driving it home there was some smoke under the car. After looking underneath it appears to be tranny fluid hitting the exhaust. Theleakage (not enough drips out to show up on dipstick) apperas to be coming from where the spped sensor connect to a back plastic peice near the tail of the tranny. Just curious if anyone else had seen this or possibly know of a remedy.

2. The remote entry is not working. The key only has one button, if I hold it down the led comes on showing battery strength. I have tried hitting the button twice then placing into ignition then turning to position 2 , to program the key. Nothing happens and neither green nor red light or mirror ever lights up. What should I try next?

on the older cars your supposed to unlock the car with the key blade in the driver door.....then within 10 seconds turn the key to position 2 or start the car. but your problem could be something else though.
