Default 1995 C220

I have had some fuel sensor problems in the past, it feels as if my newest problem might be related and I would like to know if anybody has had the same problem. The idle has always been rough and it seems too low, but the latest is a problem that has stopped me from driving it, today. The engne won't run at a constant speed the car if you bear down on the pedal the car abruptly goes fast then slow, up and down....
Anyone had this happen to them?

Please list a bit more about the car's history.
Has it had a tune-up in a while ? Fuel Filter, Air Filter Replaced & when ?

There's several things that could be causing the problem you're describing.

When you say "The idle has always been rough and it seems too low, but the latest is a problem that has stopped me from driving it, today." do you mean that it started running rough then died completely and won't start again ?

If you give us a bit more feedback we may be able to help.

I had an unsteady idle that went away when I had the mass air flow sensor replaced. Hope this helps.
