I am seeking a reconditioned engine head for a 1994 MB C280 (RH drive) Engine #104.941 and Chassis #202.028.

The car hit a Kangaroo and has probably over heated, there is a slight warp on the head and it looks like its down to
a minimum thickness so reconditioning is not an option.


This motor vehicle is reasonably scarce in Australia and reconditioned engines and heads even more so.


Can anyone give any ideas about sourcing a head.

I don't know what makes shipping troublesome from your location, but Fedex has an international shipping service that is ninety cents a pound, anywhere in the world. It gets there in days, and has a tracking number. I do not recall what it is called, but you will find it on their website. Now, I know for a fact that such a shipment can originate in the States. we have sent fifty pounds to Sweeden, and 2500 pounds to Indonesia. There may be some difficulty accessing this service if you do not do it frequently.
