New guy here. I just bought an 05 230C Sport Sedan with 18,000 miles. Paying $21,800 from ebay. Car was a dealer trade. Also looked at Bmw 325 but the prices were higher for comparable mileage and I liked the way the MB looked better. Any thoughts on the price paid? Seems like a fair deal. Anyone compare the handling of the two cars (Bmw and MB)?

Prior to getting my '06 C230 I had two E36 BMW 318's, a '95 Sedan and a '97 Coupe. The Coupe had 17" wheels and good tires, and Eibach springs. The C230 handles pretty good. It leans a bit more than the BMW's did and it understeers towards the "limit" versus the BMW's which remained more neutral at all times.

The tradeoff is the C230 does ride nicer when not pushing it.
