'03 C230 Kompressor power issue
Just wondering others thoughts that have owned this Mercedes for a while or multiple ones. This is my first. Im right at 97,000 miles. The car when initially started will under under 1000 rpms. After I get it going for a while it does get a little better. MY big concern is it feels like the car really doesnt have much power. Kind of strange to me when this is the "sport" model. It almost feels like it sdragging a bit unless I really push hard on the gas pedal. Ive driven crappy 4 cylinder cars that roled smooth at take off, this one just doesnt seem to really want to go unless you make it? Does this sound common or normal to the others out there? Granted my last car was an '04 Infiniti G35 coupe that had a great deal more horsepower. I wasnt expcting that kind of intial performance, but I wasnt expecting car that doenst feel like it wants to move either. Again, any thoughts, comments or tips to check out would be greatly appreciated.
Thansk.

Second thing to look for is Air Mass Flow Sensor. Check out youtube video on how to change MAF but before you change it you may want to make sure if that is the issue. In most cases you should get check Engine light and code. This part is quite expensive so be careful, don't change it if it is not bad.
