I have a C230K. Its an '02. I love it but I wanna but new rims on it. I was wondering any suggestions on brand and sizes. I would prefer not spend like 1000 a rim on Giovanas. Also, I was wondering how much it would cost for butterfly doors if I was to have a friend put them on. In so where do I order them and how much should I pay. Thanks.

 

I had a blue 02 C230K and if you want affordable rims that look nice get the Drifz GM506 in staggered fit 18x8 front and 18x9.5 rear. They looked great on my coupe. They're Gunmetal with a mirrored stainless steel lip. The fronts have about a 1" lip and the rears have about 3". I'll try and dig up a picture of my car with the wheels on it and send it to you if you'd like. In my honest opinion dude, don't cheapen up your MB by putting BF doors, that's just tacky. Keep it classy. Plus when you do decide to get rid of it you most likely won't be able to put the original hinges back on since you'll more than likely have to cut them off and weld the new ones in place which means if you trade the car in a dealer isn't going to give you anything for it. Just my $0.02.

 

look at ebay for wheels and look at forums for sale section. for the doors there might be a website in a mod magazine.
