I just bought a 02 c230 sport coupe and the pano roof doesn't work. I checked fuse and it was ok, I pulled off the light to check the motor and motor was fine and I found that it wasn't plugged in. So I plugged it in.

No matter which way I push on the open or close button it will either try to lift the front or the back of the roof. I was trying to close the blinds but it will only lift and drop the roof and nothing more. Its like it gets stuck. A friend of mine pushed up on the back driver side of the roof and it popped up. He said I need a new roof track assembly but I'm just not sure.

Any suggestions or advice would be great. at this point, if I can't get the roof to open it is fine I would just like to open and close the shade. I can't even get that to move.
