Hey, Everyone.

Ive had my 01 c320 for a while now, but recently it has started to make a wierd clicking noise when i start the car up. The noise seems to originate from the vents somewhere. It clicks about 5-7 before the clicking goes away. Each click is about 5 or 6 seconds apart. The clicking only occurs when I first start up the car.

Anyone know what might be going on? Or how i can fix this? I have made some attempts to find where the sounds are coming from, but its very difficulty to pin point.

I have the exact same problem (01 c240). There was an old thread discussing this problem. Search clicking noise from dash and you'll find it.

 

I did an exact search of "clicking noise from dash" and couldnt find it

I tried noise, noises, dash... cant find it do you remember who posted it?
