I just had my 2014 C300 10K service done. I called the Dealer and they quoted me over 200 for the oil change and another 47 to rotate the tires, which the service tech noted, should be done every 5k. Funny, this car has different size tires, front and back and they don't rotate them. Oh and he told me that they have a list of safety checks they do which is check hoses and top off fluids and some other bogus normal random things. And they were sure to tell me, if I went anywhere, they couldn't guaranty things were done right and it could void warranty items. I lease my car, for 27 months, and the dealer also offered me a great $750 price to cover all my needed services in the 2 years, I'd likely have the car. This amounts to 2 oil changes at only $750 for that, what a deal. I went to CJ's tires today, had a full service oil change (the topped off fluids and checked tire pressure, reset maintenance notification all for $89.00 dollars with a $20 rebate form, I'm sending in. This full service oil change cost me $69 dollars. But people will pay $ 247 dollars, to drink coffee in leather chairs at the dealership. I'd rather walk to Dunkin Donuts near the CJ's and keep my money instead of throwing it away.
