I e-mailed you once before about EMC and you were kind enough write back. Narrowed down the problem which is: 1.motor vibration in extreme cold when first starting and put in drive(not when in reverse or idleing,a sound (like exaust pipe clanging metal to metal under passenger seat or forward of that point))-very brief- when first pulling off in drive). When outside temperature is above 40 -45o it rarely happens. As car is driven and warms up for about ten minutes it all but dissapears. On full accelleration car flies like shot from a cannon.. No sound except a humming engine. With foot on break i get about an inch to two inches of engine lean reving enginein drive. No lean in Reverse. Do these mounts (c230k 2000') harden with age? I knowthey're gel filled but don't see any visable signs of leakage. The second cause as you stated could be the EMC. I have 91,000 miles on car. i'm going to try replacing motor mounts first. and then send you EMC for repair if that doesn't work.. Ant suggestions on replacing motor mounts. I'll jack up engine. does cowl need removal? Thanks again
