I have a 1991 300 E. The Becker Radio blew the fuse so I replaced it. It asked for the code. I entered the code then the radio goes blank. Am I missing another step? Any help is appreciated.

 

Did you get the code based off the serial number / have the dealer provide it to you?

 

First time using the car vin number. Mercedes had all the information. I entered the code they gave me and nothing. Screen went blank. I found a website using the radio serial number and it went from code to wait. After a while it goes back to code.

 

From what I've read, the 'Wait' message only happens when an incorrect code is entered. To be honest, I'm not sure what the next step is if MB themselves gave you the code.
