Default Lowering 2001 CLK55

I've contacted the local Brabus Tuner about lowering my 2001 CLK55. He asked me if I wanted both the springs and shocks (I think??). I'm a novice with this procedure and the reason I want to lower the car is for the esthetics and looks. I would appreciate any input both positive and negative. How does this affect the AMG suspension? I was quoted $1295.00 for the kit and ~ $300 to install. Remember, this is Southern California.

if your suspension gets harder, the rollover bar will deploy at about 3 times above normal gravity.

If your just going for looks than just springs would be fine. If your car is a convertable then your going to have issues with your rollbar. your going to need to have the sensor adjusted so that the rollbar doesnt deploy when it shouldnt. I lowered my C43 with just
springs and not shocks. I havent had any problems and the ride is still great!
