Default Lowering

Hi have a question - does anyone know of an outfit called 'rentech' - I am not sure on spelling. I believe this outfit sells electronic gadgetry that overides the ABC and changes body height. I would like to know exactly what is involved with this type of modification? Thanks.[/align]

renntech is probably the most well know of all the aftermarket mb tuners and their lowering module works great by all accounts. iirc, it is adjustable, mounts in the cabin, and works by altering the voltage values the ride height sensors send to the ecu, thereby fooling the ecu into lowering the suspension.

I checked with Renntech and they said it wasn't theirs. Not to helpful. Does anyone know of anybody else who makes these suspension lowering modules?

If it looks like below, then it's Renntech.

Anyone using the Brabus 6, 20"X9.5 with a lowering unit? Do anyone have any rubbing issues and are you needing to roll your fenders? Is 20" just way to large for a S55 and just might ruin the ride???
