The cruise control on the Magnum works the same way as the W126's

The T-Bird was there originally. What a great car. Then it became a huge four-door land yacht of a joke. Then it came back again strong as the TurboCoupe and SuperCoupe. Then it disappeared for a couple of years and returned with a gay retro look as it took its last breath. The car looked silly, but at least they were trying to make a real car. But they were trying to capture a new customer base using old designs instead of building on an existing customer base.

What's with putting a frickin' four-banger in a little weenie car and calling it a GTO or Charger. Those earlier remakes. I don't totally dislike the new GTO, but that's only because of its performance.

Most of the newer retro-cars are just plain stupid. I want a modern car if I buy a new one, and that includes the body design. The same thing irks me about a lot of newer movies. They're just remakes of older ones. Have designers in all fields run out of ideas? I hope the retro craze is over.

The new Camaro is the nice. Lets just hope they won't bolo this by placing some weak powerplant in it. Like a supercharged V-6 and calling it the SS

The 3.8 should be base.
3.8 super should be RS
a small V8 4.8? or 5.3 should be the Z28
and the SS should be a detuned 6.0 from the vette.

Why not go 5.7, a bode to the LT1 for the Z28. One of the greatest Chevy engines. The good old 350.

... and the LS1 and LS2 engines are far superior to the clunky cast iron LT1. If the Camaro in the concept form ever sees the light of day, it will probably have the LS2. If they wanted to do something as stupid as use the LT1 for oldtime's sake, the DOHC LT5 ZR1 engine would be a better choice and a hearty salute to past GM "refined" muscle.

well the Z06 is nothing but an over hyped mediocre car. Not bad but not as good as they try to make it seem. It's still a GM product. And still feel like a GM product.
this is coming from a person with the following lineup:

1989 Mercedes 560SEL grey
1987 BMW 735i grey
1997 Mercury Cougar 30th Anniversary drk t.red

it's like a law secretary telling a judge he has no idea what he's doing.

you've never even been close to a z06. shows how much you know about the z06, any person who has ever been to a race or knows anything about racing circles knows that for the price and even twice it's price- there is nothing else. anyhow..I have an '02 z06 that i just sold (as of today)




there's a reason the z06 dominates road racing in it's class- it's not because it's "overhyped genius". i went from a gt3 porsche to this and the difference was phenomenal w/a few small modifications. anyhow- about to purchase a c32 in a few weeks here. glad to be here.
