Any word out on a safe but effective way to boost the 2005 E55 to the 600 hp mark, let me know

 

I've heard of a company that does a chip and blower pulley that thay claim will make about 50 hp more. You can probably find then with a google search. BTW, it would void your warranty and decrease your realiability. I did a chip and blower pulley on my Lightning pickup and it made a big difference. However, the pickup is a 5000 lb vehicle sometimes used for towing. Our amg's are already equiped with a performance program and the stock blower pulley makes about 11 lbs of boost. Once you go past about 12 lbs boost you are getting into the grey area of realiability. And an aftermarket performance chip usually needs numerous tuning sessions to get it right. I would leave your car alone. These cars are luxury performance cars not race cars.
