Default C32 vs. Porsche Twin Turbo

Several days ago, I was driving CLS55's other AMG, a 2002 C32 (for sale, in Puerto Rico, 27k miles). He is my brother in law, so he entrusted me with selling the C. On secondary roads, at night, I pulled away from a yellow Twin Turbo that got caught in traffic. I could hold my own with that car up until 145 mph, for the traffic prevented any higher speeds. Even leaving a toll booth, the Porsche could not pass by me. (Don't jump to conclusions, there was traffic and no open roads. Plus, I do not consider myself the worst driver in the world, for I have been actively involved in circuit racing, including karting, for the last 10 years.) The point I want to carry across is that these AMG's are gems, that can be used on a daily basis and deliver full potential with minimal effort. As a comparison, I own two Ferraris, a 456GT and a Mondial, and it is much more difficult for one to extract this much performance from those cars than from an AMG. Enjoy...

The C32 are great cars and will probably smoke most rice burners straight out the factory. But... as far as that twin turbo thing...No, let me begin by saying that Porsche are widely known for being almost as close to a race car feeling as one can get. Meaning that just any monkey can't just hop in a Porsche twin turbo and be the king of the road. Alot of people that own those cars don't truely know how to drive them. Hell, even some professional car testers have problem with it. The twin turbo numbers are great just as the Mondial and 456GT are but it takes skill to extract the performance that's on paper.
The Mercedes AMGs are fast, classy, easy to drive and if you run across a guy in some high performance car and he really don't know how to drive it, he'll get smoked. I've seen it so bad that some guy in a Diablo got smoked by a Mustang V6. Because the guy in the Diablo didn't have a clue to what he was doing. Remember, you are suppose to own your car and not let your car own you.

But let say you was behind the wheel of the twin turbo?

Thats the funniest $hit I ever herd. You sure that v6 rustang wasn't charged or something, the things only got 200hp, i dont care how bad you drive that diablo has atleast 500hp.
