I'm new to this forum.. im planning on buying an S55. just wanted to know if anyones had any experiences with it and any general S55 check and issues i should know about before buying it...

The only problem highlighted by the current owner is the front left air shocks are leaking air when the car is switched off ... needs replacement

 

2003 and up S-Class has many improvements. Don't forget to add ASP pulley on your S55 for extra ~50 ponies.

 

I've had a transmission mount go bad that led to a knocking sound from the right muffler. It was replaced under warranty. I'd recommend looking at a certified car. The repairs can get really expensive.
