AMG E53 AC Drain flooded passenger floor
Good Day
I have a 2022 E53 that ended up having a pinched hose under the dash preventing the AC from draining, and the water ended up flooding under the passenger floorboards and have corroded out some of the connectors. The hose appeared to be pinched from factory due to the location under the dash and the car only having 8200 miles when I bought it and 10,000 miles at time of the fault. The 4 year factory warranty expired in November 2026, trying to see if extended warranty will cover it as the harness with labor is $20,000 as its 50 hours of labor. The dealer says they have gone to MB corporate but it was denied. Not sure if anyone has run into this or knows of a TSB on this topic I can use as a supporting document to have them pay for repair. Service advisor is checking with lead techs to see if they can clean the corrosion of the terminals and try to see what faults remain. Haad tried using car insurance to put in a claim but was denied.
