CONNECT A BATTERY CHARGER!!!! put the key in the ignition and turn to position 2. (2 clicks. go slow till the dash lights up) DO NOT TRY TO START!!!!!. You will see the red led on the key go on and stay on. You will see the light go out anywhere from 1 min to 6 hours later. Then you may start the car.

the new remote should open the doors since it is ordered by VIN. the charger need to be connected because the programming can not be interupted. (key in ignition) if it is the key will be no good. you can put a charger at 5-15 amps. This should be sufficent. like i said before, sometimes it takes only 5 min to program. It all depends on how the car feels that day
