Default Steering wheel

I have 1995 S500 coupe AMG Beautiful car. I need the wood grain veneer for the steering wheel. I would hate to spend $500.00+ to replace the steering wheel not to mention labor to do this when all it needs is the wood grain veneer HELP !!!

There are several companies that specialize in restoring MB steering wheels. They are listed in the MBCA magazine The Star. If you are not a member you should join. Beside the mag I get a 20% discount on parts at two dealers, and 15% at another. No discount on labor.

To All DIY's, you all should consider membership, it is now expensive, I usually join for 2 years at a time. I have already made that back with a couple of oil filters and wiper inserts I bought.

www.mbca.net. you need a sponsor, email me if you are considering joining, and I will be glad to sponsor you.

Go to www.mbca.net and there is an on line application, under who recommended you my real name is ALLAN LUEB. my email is alueb@aol.com. Also, I forgot to mention a lot of the advertizer's also give discounts to club members. You think this board has Mercedes Freaks, wait to you get on MBCA forum, there are people on the clubs board that have 5 or 6 Benz's a couple of 500K mile people and a bunch of 250K milers.

Kaju: You must be a young person? As when I was a young man, I couldn't wait to get things done, especially with my cars, that being said. I will look thru the Mercedes STAR magazine and get some name of companies that do this work. Are you mechanically inclinded enough to remove the steering wheel, with a airbag?
