hi guys,

i just bought a 1990 560sec.., and i do not really care for the intereior color of blue.
have any of you changed or had the interior color changed in your benz ?

i am wanting to change it to gray or the beige mercedes color..



any thoughts ?

i should have said, that i was planning on chaning the color by dying the leather, not replacing it..

why would you want to change that color, it looks nice

i have a 1990 560SEL with gray interior and the sun has changed the color of some panels... now i wish i had a darker color...

keep in mind that your blue won't do what my gray did.[:@]

 

About 2 months ago i bought a 1982 300D T. The palimono drivers seat was not fastened properly and there was a hole in the backrest. I needed a subsitute while I figure out a way to repair the original, so I bought a decent blue driver's seat out of a wreaked 1982 SD for $25.00. I then thoroughly cleaned and prepped it as per the directions, then sprayed on 15 or so thin coats of palimino vinyl paint ..... I'm glad that seat's only a substitute, because it's already beginning to rub off in certain areas.... I haven't found any paint on my clothing, but if I keep it in much longer, it's obvious that I'll have to re-touch it.
