advice for repairing rusted floor needed
Just got a '84 300D and since the 2 front seats were in horrible condition i removed them, but what i found was some bad rust (mostly on the drivers side floor) like holes and in some places its not even metal anymore but undercoating. So i was wondering what the best way to repair it would be. find a 300d at salvage yard and cut the floor out and weld it in? or get some sheet metal and make my own and either cover it or replace it. Or any other ideas? Ill have pics up tomorrow! Thanks all.

not much damage from rust.
best way is just to get a good denter / body repairer.
just cut the damage part, follow the pattern by shaping a new steel plate, and weld it in place. not necessarily to make it look good since it is hidden.
apply lead paint on welded area after it's done.
