I have a 1982 380 SEC that will not pass smog in CA. It is running great but the emissions are off the chart. HC is like 700. I'm told it is running too rich , dumping fuel in the system. There are no Mercedes mechanics within 50 miles of me. The fuel distributer seems to be working because a 1/2 screw turn on the adjustment nut and the car wont start at all. Any help would be appreciated greatly.
