Default RE: window

Greg,
I dont know how; I haven't had any problem with mydoor window. But it sounds pretty urgent. I happen to have a 2000CLK myself, and I will go to the garage to see how it comes off for you, ok.

Blue.

Default RE: window

Greg,

As MB, all/most fastners are stylishly hidden from sight.

1) There is chrome cap with three screws, located in the jam of the door. Remove the screws with small phillips screwdriver.

2) There is a trim piece covering the tumble lock, in the jam of the door. Remove the screw and the trim.

3) There is a major screw located under the "SRS" badge on the door panel. Pop off the badge with a dull butter knife, and remove the screw.

4) There is a major bolt located inside the door handle. The handle actually has a cover. Find separate and pop-off the cover with a dull butter knife. Remove that screw.

5) remove the speaker in the corner of the window.

6) It hooks at the top, so you have to lift up and wiggle it to get it off.

Greg, I hope that helps.

Blue
