Default wheel wobble c class

my 1994 c220 auto is suffering from a wheel wobble felt through the steering wheel from about 55 mph,i have replaced the 2 front tyres and had all wheels balanced and even had the suspension components checked by a garage and was told they were o.k,their is some play in the front wheel bearings but i was told by the mechanic that this is normal, does anyone have any other ideas what the problem might be as i dont know what to do next.

replicas...means wheels with tires?

you should have done the swap test first.

Had similar problem with replicas on my CLK430. Turned out I had two problems. One, one of the wheels was out of round so much that could not be propely balanced. A good tire installer can measure trueness of wheel to diagnose that problem. That is problem with some replica wheel mfg...quality control is not always there. Other was since I had gone up to 19", low profile tires when sitting overnight get flat spot and need to heat up to get rid of wobble.
