hey every one i am in the market for a 560sec..... i found a 1989 560sec with 72k original miles the guy says he has all the records and it was serviced at the dealership and it has its stamps ... the color is Champaign with either tan or palomino what would this car really be worth to buy and keep? i really don't like the Champaign color i was thinking of painting it black so if you all could help me out that would be great. i am meeting with him later on this afternoon.

 

If you know these cars, then you can pick out any faults and "horsetrade" price and beauty are relative. I recently bought a 79 450SLC the seller was asking $4500. The car had 114K miles and is in good to very good condition, no rust and the brightwork is there, everyhting works excep the HVAC. After a hour or so of horsetrading I got the car for $3200.
