what is this switch????
hello,
i just bought a 1988 190e 2.3 (this is my first mercedes) there isa switch in the middle of the dash that has like 3 arrows pointing to the right a line that goes down the middle and like one arrow pointing to the left. what does this do???? and also my dash lights wont come on. where is the **** to turn them up or on or what ever. ive checked all my fuses and they are good. thanks,

got a pic of it?
must be a sliding roof switch.
rheostat is on the instrument cluster. the **** would spring out if you will give it a single push and will flush in again if you will push one more time.
