Its the rear roll bar or as I believe you call it in the USA the rear sway bar.

it's anti roll bar. others call it gay bar.

Thanks for the info. The left side of the rear tollbar is rusty and a whole rusty skin has come off. I am going to change the rear coil springs next week. Is it the same job? Should I change the rusty rollbar immediately or don't bother?

Thanks for the info. The left side of the rear anti rollbar is rusty and a whole rusty skin has come off. I am going to change the rear coil springs next week. Is it the same job? Should I change the rusty anti rollbar immediately or don't bother?
