hi,i have a S500 long wheelbase 2000 model.The water started to leak into the front passanger side under the mat where the electrical connectionsa are.The leak came from the air inlet under the bonnet.The inleed has a reed valve which gets blocked and the water builds up and leaks into the car.Mercedes has changed the air vent on later models by adding an overflow.Does this mean mercedes will have a warrenty on this as it is a design fault and a common problem.It has caused my car display to go haywire.It says your brake issist is not working,the air supsension is not working and the car finds it hard to get into gear.I thinnk this could be a short or the computer is wet.If i restart the engine the problem goes awaw till i start it again later.Does this sound expensive.You can clean the vent with something long.Can anyone help me,thanks
