1998 C280 Sport air vent and bulb question from a rookie
Hello all you wonderful experts. I have a question that should be simple, but I don't know the answer because this is my first mercedes I have ever owned. However, I have worked on cars for many years. I would like someone to please help me figure out how to take out the center and driver's side air vents so that I can replace them. Also I would like to know how to replace the bulbs that light up the AC controls. As a side note, I am not sure if I have a sealed transmission or not. There is something that looks like a dipstick for the tranny under the hood, but it looks broken. Does this need to be replaced, I am worried about dust getting in where it it broken. Thank you so much for your help in advance.

the loudspeaker cover, just pry it out.
to replace the bulb on the a/c control, you need to pull it out.
your transmission should have a dipstick.
