Default Warranty question on 2002 C240

I am thinking about purchasing a 2002 C240, private sale. (not from the dealer). This car has been serviced from the dealer since new, and now has 40,000 km on it. The warranty is valid till May, 2006. If I purchase this vehicle and transfer the warranty at the dealership to my name, is all of the warranty valid for the second owner? Do I have to pay for any of the A or B services, etc, while under warranty or is that covered in the 2001-2004 models. Any input would be appreciated.

the warranty goes with the car, so better confirm with the dealer in your area for they have different policies.

yes, service must be paid. some dealers offer it for free on some extent.

i think the best way is call the service advisor... we don't know your location.

I will also find out if you getting a STARMARK warranty, they use to throw a years worth, at least with my 99 they did.
