Just picked up a nice looking one and would like a copy of the Owners Manual.

Any one have a set of documents that would go with the car when sold new ?

This is regarding the 1997 S600 V-12.

Somehow my service guys left the doors unlocked when it was there for oil change, filters, and a general once over. Thieves came in overnight to their lot and a number of cars and made off with all the contents within the glove boxes of at least MY car. Fortunately NO personal data was stored there, only the original books, Monroney sticker, and all sale documents from new to the first and original owner in AZ.

yeah, am pissed.

They got the trunk key as well, but nothing was in there to lose. I do NOT understand a M/B service center being so blase' about a person's personal goods..... and a car which once cost nearly $140,000.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Really unfortunate that this happened. Did the dealer offer you any sort of compensation since the car was in their position when this happened...not to mention an error by one of their employees? Which documents are you referring to? The owner's manual? You can likely find a copy on ebay or in the Classifieds section.
