Default W208 cabriolet boot jammed

Help please ,my hood relay failed so i put the roof in manual mode but stupidly closed the boot before manually locking the rear window down with the allen key.

The rear window is latched on the first click so wont go down further or release upwards.

This i believe has disabled the boot lock electrically and my key has never been used.

The boot lock pushes in and out but doesnt release the lid.

Any suggestions??

I have soaked the lock in wd40 but the key doesnt go in the tumblers probably all gummed up

Assuming i can insert it which way does it turn to unlock or will it unlock

Your help very much appreiated

Thank you

Default

you must turn and push the trunk lock with the key in it.

Default clk boot jammed

I couldn't get the key to work so reluctantly knocked the tumbler though into the boot and destroyed the lock. a bit of fiddling with a 90 degree bent screwdriver on the lock mech opened it.

now need to replace the lock!!

my other clk 320 cab also suffered a similar problem this week when my mechanic removed the battery to charge it and shut the boot,

he couldn't get in with the key and tried to trigger the boot from using the underbonnet charging points with no avail.

in the end he drilled a hole after removing the numberplate and fished the lock open.

this was then removed and lubricated and the key now works yippee.

However remote unlock from the blipper and console switch don't wotrk any longer??

any thoughts ?? should we be looking at the vacuum pump lines??

Does anyone have a wiring schematic as to why there are two microswitches on the boot lock and what they do??

how does the console switch open the boot??

Does it operate the pse pump to pneumatically open the lock and then also pump air into the little boot ram on the RHS of boot lock that appears to have an air line to it??

frustrating these boot locks!!

now having fun with seat controller only making the seat go forwards unless I use the memory presets aaaghhhhh
