My old 1990 230E starts on the button when cold and typically after a short journey maybe 1mile, I start it again but it cuts out when it goes in gear. I then let it idle until it is hot then it is fine.It only happens in autumn and winter but is intermittent. Last year it righted itself and was ok towards the end of the winter.
3 mechanics have had a look and havn't a clue. Temperatures are dropping and it's starting again so I would really appreciate any advice
