Default W124 1989 230E reverse gear noise
W124 1989 230E manual transmission, just purchased. Sometimes makes noise during selection of the reverse gear. Feel on the hand indicates one gear teeth hits another gear teeth due to bad synchronization. RPM is around 750. Mechanic says this is a problem on all W124 and he cannot do anything.
