Default Vito´s instrument cluster broken ?

After battery change all warning lights start flashing 2-3 sec periods.
If the fuel level sensor is disconnected everything works ok (not fuel gauge of course)

Sensor value measured: 75ohm = ok

Signal route to MCU (inside panel) cheked with oscilloscope = ok.
MCU makes reset if the fuel level sensor is connected ??? (and blinks warning lights)

Any idea what causes problem ?

I think that something is corrupted in the MCU´s memory so the next question is:
Is it possiple to upload new software in to MCU ?

MB VITO 110cdi year 2002

Thanks for any help...

Default RE: Vito´s instrument cluster broken ?

75 ohm means that you got a little more than 1/2 of fuel in the tank.... that's correct.

sounds like the instrument cluster problem to me.

try parameterizing it first. you can use HHT or Star Diagnosis
