Vibration w/ 20" wheels on my E320
I just bought some 20" x 8.5" chrome wheels for my 1996 E320 & love the way they look, but get a good vibration when driving on the freeway. I've already had my wheels balanced twice because I get a Vibration from @ 50 mph and up. I was wondering if I needed to possibly replace my control arms, ball joints, or bushings??? My car currently has 49,500 miles on the odometer - what could the problem be??
I had a similar problem with my 2000 BMW 323CI when I put some aftermarket 18" wheels on it and when the bushings and control arms were replaced - problem went away - does the same apply to Mercedes Benz????

Nicely put 323CIBOY, 'whiteboy' is probably feeling a little envy because he doesn't own a Mercedes Benz. Let's point and laugh at him boys! *HAAAHHAHAHAHAH* Ahem, Excuse me. Now will someone ban that clown's IP please? thanks. Sorry I haven't the slightest idea what you should do to make the vibration go away. But if it was me, I would ask sleepwalker, lugnut or c280 wizard...they seem to know everything about Mercedes.

I have a similar problem that I bought new wheels to repair!!! I have a 99 c230 that has a vibration right around 75-80 no matter what wheels or tires are on the car, any one have any ideas?????
Do the bearings on the driveshafts go??
I have no noise or anything but I have tried three sets of wheels????
