V-class question
Hi there since theres no V-class section ill post my question here
i have just bought a 2000 vito 112 cdi .. i bought it without keys since the seller had lost them
i then ordered a new key from the local mercedes shop and it came today i brought the car down to them for coding of the immobilizerchip in the new key ..
in the attempt to do this they claim theres a fault in the immobilizer databox and because of this they get an error in the "starter control"
they claim its the immobilizer box that has to be changed but if i understand it right the strater control doenst really include the immobilizerbox..
am i wrong or ?
im just thinking that it will be pretty crappy to buy a pretty expensive immobilizer box just to realize that the fault is in the starter or starter relay/fusebox-thingie
any ideas?
