tyre pressure loss warning system

Default tyre pressure loss warning system

hi, i have just bought a cls500with 18" amg wheels incorperating tyre pressure loss system, i want to change them to the 19" but the ones i have bought have not got the tyre pressure loss system , can i turn the system off permantley?aswhen i start the car at the moment the warning system signalsgoes off.

car must be brought to a dealer to turn off feature .

thankyou Chassis221, for your prompt response, do you know if it can be turned off permantley by a dealership for deffinate?

Your welcome! yes they go into the instrument cluster and would change the tire pressure monitor to "not present" might also have to go into the EIS or ignition switch and also change that too.
