Hello, everyone: I am looking for a little help. We have a 1981 300SD with a turbocharger. We have removed the engine, and we have another used engine to put in. The engine we are putting in has no turbocharger. It fits the mounts, but we are having to make some adjustments. The main thing we need to know before going any further is whether this car needs the turbocharged engine. Will we be able to use this car with a 5-cylinder engine with no turbocharger?
