I need a fuse chart for a 2002 S430. My trunk closer quit working and there is no fuse chart in my car. If someone can tell which fuse it is, that would help.

 

not sure of the fuse without looking at diagram, but check fuses under back seat passenger side right at the floor at base of seat just pry off cover with the light on it. does this car have power closing trunk lid?? if it does you will need to go to dealer to normalize the trunk lid.

 

Yes, it does have a trunk closer and also has closers on all four doors. Thanks for your response.

 

Oh I didn't know you were talking about closing assist, i thought you were talking about remote trunk closer that actually shuts the trunk lid. my mistake.

 

In my 2002 C200, the fuse chart is in the form of a thin long sheet of paper folded several times into a small sqare piece and placed inside the passenger compartment fuse box. It is at the side near the steering wheel and accessed by pricing open the plastic cover.
I found it from my owner's manual after desperately searching for it on the covers of the fuse boxes as in the older models.
Perhaps you should look there too.

I disconnected the ground cable on the battery and reconnected it 5 minutes later. The closer assist is now working.
