Towing an automatic trans 190
Should have asked earlier- I am going on a 250 mile trip to pick up the 190.
I have a tow dolly.
Does the driveshaft need to be unhooked for towing this distance?
Will I need anything special to remove it?
Should I rent a trailer instead?
I don't want to make the trip only to find out I don't have what it takes to get it home-
Advice appreciated!

RE: Towing an automatic trans 190
Just back from a 250mile excursion towing the 190-
Posting this info FYI:
The driveshaft is a 1/2 shaft with 6 bolts on the differential end and splines on the other.
The 6 bolts are 15 mil and the nuts are 17. Rubber carrier bearing(?) at the splined end removes with 2 13mil bolts.
Time to crawl under and re-assemble.
