Hello!

Newbie here. Does anyone know what the tow capacity is on this car? I'm interested in getting a trailer and would like to know how much I could haul. Many thanks, Jack.

 

Did you check the manual for a capacity? My 240D came with an aftermarket hitch installed. I am going to tow a light trailer with it to pick up a table over Easter. I'm looking for a "T" type connector to plug into the wiring harness or else someone to tell me the easy place in the trunk to tie in the trailer lights.

it's safe for 1.5 ton or lower.

if your car got unusual hight temp, you may need to temporarily install additional fan on the radiator to prevent overheating.
