Hi
My 1989 MB230E (W124) suddenly started to idle much higher than usual. It has been 700rpm for 15 years, and now it's suddenly 1500-2500, it's almost like it's nor "released". Have changed the distributor cap and the rotor, but it didn't help. Anyone?

check the connector for idle speed control valve if it was disconnected.
check other wiring connectors too.
