Default ticking noise

hi guys, new here, just got a new `06 cls 500 with 6 miles a week and half ago, just turned 650 miles and i noticed a lifter or maybe a timing chain tensioner kind of like noise only when i rev the engine, i`m a master tech, and i work for nissan of north america, and if we notice a noise like that in a engine, there is something wrong, however this is my first new benz, and a friend told me to drive it for another 600 miles and let the lifters charge and maybe the timing chain tensioner, because this engines are built with precision and let it loose up a little bit, as a master tech it makes sence, but i built engines before and this happens only `till the oil pressure gets up there and charges all the hydraulic parts, i know this benz engines have a lot more components than a regular motor out there, but have anyone out there heard of a similar case? if so please let me know if i should go back and raise hell or wait, because i don`t work at a benz dealership and i don`t hear this stories out there.Thank you for your response in advance. Ricky.

Ricky, take the car back. Its not supposed to knock or rattle.

If it takes more than one hour to fix ask for another car.

Now who's your favorite dealer...! LOL

Excellent.

Sounds like a worldclass operation. I'd give em all my service/oil/tire work too, when the time comes.
