Tachometer and Speedometer Connection for M110 Engine inline 6
Hi Everyone,
I am working on a Mercedes 300SL Gullwing project using a M110 engine. I have a mechanical tachometer and speedometer off from 280SE and both are using cable drive. How can I connect the mechanical tachometer to the engine to get the tachometer working. Is there a terminal available on the engine I can connect the tach cable. I know I can get the pulse signal from the ignition coil through the "-" side but my tachometer is mechanical version. How can I get it working.
Is the speedometer cable connects to the end of the transmission. Please advise if anyone can help and thank you
