suspension options for 74 240d
I'm not trying to race the slowest car on earth... I just want something that looks nice... I want to lower it some without really sacrificing a lot... the idea of air bags/ride has come in to play some, but I'm not at a point with this vehicle that I want to drop a couple grand on the suspension (or probably ever)... If I recall the back is on leaf springs (you can tell me no if not, lol)... that would be easy enough to lower with some blocks.
The front though... I saw something about someone posting 'reverse shackles' - never heard about that - but any ideas would be great... if I eventually come to doing air bags, I'd go something simple, and hide the switches in the ashtray or something like that and use bump stops to keep it from framing with no air... but I guess ideally I would use blocks in the back and something in the front... please let me know what you all have in mind or have done
